Despite the colder temperatures, 4th grade students recently enjoyed a visit to Hartley Outdoor Education Center. The visit was filled with hands-on outdoor learning and memorable experiences. Students learned outdoor survival skills and worked together to build shelters. The Confidence Course gave students the opportunity to problem solve and attempt completing activities within the course. After outdoor classes were done for the day students got to relax and play inside.

Hi Parents,
I wanted to reach out to let you know that we have a fun opportunity coming up! All year the students have been working on ST Math during class in hopes of completing their journey. We already have over 200 students who have reached 100%! By reaching 100% that means that these students will be able to go to the ST Math Celebration in May.
I wanted to let you know about this so that you can be talking with your student(s) to see where they are at so they don’t miss this opportunity. If you have any questions, please contact me at akeipert@birchrunschools.org.
Thank you,
Miss Keipert
