Don't miss our on our Holiday Bedtime Storynight. Thursday, Dec 4th at 5 pm!

Nova is the best reading buddy. Mrs. Gabriel's class enjoyed a visit this week. We are very thankful to have a therapy dog at school and all the joy she brings. Thank you so much to our community sponsors- LaFontaine Ford, KISS My Mutts, and Bavarian Vet.

It's a great morning in Miss Berg's preschool class!

A huge thank you to Suski Chevrolet for continuing to support our Panther in Me program with gift cards. Weekly students can earn Panther in Me slips for displaying: responsibility, respect, safety, kindness, and leadership. Students put their slips in our bucket. Mrs. Glenn drawers 2 winners from every grade level on Fridays and those students get to come pick out a prize in the office. Suski donates small giftcards from area businesses. We appreciate them so much! We offer lots of prizes though from pencils, fidgets, stickers, book vending machine coins, visits with our therapy dog, and more! If you would like to donate prizes or money to purchase prizes, please contact Mrs. Paquette at kpaquette@birchrunschools.org or drop them off in the office. For example, if you host an event and have left over party favors or candy- these might make great prizes! Stop in and see us.

Are you looking for some additional inclome for the holiday season? Do you enjoy working with a great team and students? Join us by subbing! Flexible hours. No matter your qualifications- we have a spot for you (if you pass the background check)! You do not need college credits to sub in support positions (playground, cafeteria, lunch, students supports)- you only need a hs diploma or a GDE. To sub in teacher positions, you neeed 60 college credit hours.

Here's a behind the scenes picture of Mrs. Glenn. She does so many great things for our students and school to foster great mental health, self confidence, good choices, and great character. Many may not know we have daily video announcements! Mrs. Glenn puts together our daily video announcements that have character or behavior lessons. Here she is videotaping a class reciting the Pledge so they can be leaders on the announcements. She and Miss Ferry are a wonderful team and we appreciate them both! This is just one example of the many, many things they do!

Mrs. Bomba attended a conference- HTTI Workshop 3D Print and CAD for classroom teachers provided by the High Tech Talent Initiative . Here she is assembling our new 3D Printer that she earned by attending.
Make plans to join us this weekend and support our baseball and softball programs!

STEAM night was a lot of fun. Thank you to Mrs. Bomba for organizing and planning the event. Thank you to all the staff who volunteered- we couldn't have such a night without you.
