The boiler project at BRHS is moving right along. The new boilers have been set in place. The next part of the process is to connect all of the piping. Thank you to our voters for your support of the bond proposal, which is funding this needed improvement.
Summer school students enjoyed a fun day at Sloan Museum & the planetarium. We are proud of all the hard-work these students put in during June!

Summer School Students enjoyed visiting the book vending machine.

A special thank you to Carrie Ammons of RE/MAX Right Choice Reality for coordinating a special assembly! Students learned a lot about the science behind hot air balloons from a RE/MAX pilot. It was a very neat experience. Students sat on a deflated balloon and posted for pictures inside a balloon as well! How many people can say they've been inside a hot air balloon? RE/MAX also donated an awesome true story book!

The kindness club at north elementary created a kindness rock garden. Students painted kind messages and pictures to bring a smile to others. Take one or leave one to help our garden grow! The rock garden is located in front of the building at north elementary by the lending library.

Come join our team at North Elementary School!

The Michigan Department of Education requested students make videos honoring teachers they appreciate. Aliyah and Ben made this great video honoring Ms. Gabriel and submitted it. You're right, Aaliyah and Ben, we think Ms. Gabriel is pretty fabulous, too. Awesome job with the video! #MiTeachAppreesh

More STEAM fun!

We had such a fun time at STEAM night! Thank you to Mrs. Bomba- she does a fabulous job planning.

Hello Birch Run Community!
We hope you are enjoying your spring break. We wanted to pass along some information that was shared with us from the local clerk’s office. The attached graphic shows the early voting dates for the votes this year. The clerk’s office also provided copies of the ballot for the May Birch Run Area Schools bond proposal. Those sample ballots are available for review at Birch Run High School.
We know how busy life gets, so one way to take a little off of your plate is to sign up to vote absentee. You can even do that from the beach (if you’re so lucky to be sitting on one). You will need your driver’s license, but you can find more information on that here: https://mvic.sos.state.mi.us/AVApplication.
If you have any questions about the bond proposal, more information can be found on our bond website or by contacting Nate Mausolf at nmausolf@birchrunschools.org.

Did you know that only 30% of registered voters voted on the November Bond Proposal for Birch Run Area Schools? We know life is busy. One way to make sure you get your vote counted is to vote via absentee ballot. Anyone can sign up for absentee voting by visiting https://mvic.sos.state.mi.us/AVApplication/Index.
Don't miss out on this important vote!

North's kindness club in group 1 really showed up to bring smiles and cheer at North this week for Random Acts of Kindness Week. Students kicked off our whole district with a kindness video that shared facts about kindness and ways to be kind to ourselves and others. Students shared a smile and a special sweet treat with teachers and staff, and buddy read kindness books to their peers.

Help us celebrate and promote Kindness Week! Great job to Mrs. Glenn and the Kindness Club! https://www.canva.com/design/DAHA1t5vfPg/RABr4dTmtbYnMuL3vNjK7A/edit?utm_content=DAHA1t5vfPg&utm_campaign=designshare&utm_medium=link2&utm_source=sharebutton
