The students in Mrs. Urbanowski-Nowak’s forensics class read holiday books to first graders and some third graders at North Elementary School. It was a great time!


Kaelen Harrington is our December Athlete of the Month!
Kaelen currently holds a 4.2 GPA after his first Trimester here at BRHS. As a freshmen on the wrestling team, he has jumped out to a 10-2 individual record including three pins to wrestlers who are currently ranked in the top 16 in the state, in their division. Most recently, Kaelen finished as the Ann Arbor Skyline Invitational Champion in his weight class.

BRHS is excited to announce our December Students of the Month are Timothy Brown and Shyler Gilbert!
Students earn this recognition from the high school staff for their commitment to a positive work ethic, willingness to assist, and role model qualities. Thank you Tim and Shyler, for being great student role models!



Congratulations to BOTH the High School Cheer Team and the MGMS Cheer Team. Each squad finished first overall at the Shepherd Invite. Great job!!


The competitive cheer team took second place in their division at the CCAM Invitational on 12/8/23.


Avery Wise signs to play softball at UM-Dearborn. Congratulations!


The varsity boys hold on to defeat the Montrose Rams 55-52 to improve to 2-0 this season. Jaxon Martinus led the Panthers with 31 points and Christian Stebner chipped in nine points of his own. The JV boys also beat the Rams by a score of 61-33.


The varsity girls tip off the season with a 51-35 win over Vassar.
Chaniya Bond led the Panthers with 18 points courtesy of six three pointers. Aiyanna Willis tallied 10 points for Birch Run and Sydney Fox chipped in 9.


This December, BWell has partnered with our local gym, Hometown Hustle, to offer students a chance to win a trial membership as a prize. We know how busy this time of year is, but exercise can decrease that stressed feeling. Let's end this year with doing our very best to track those exercise minutes for your chance to win!!!!


The votes are in! Jaxon Martinus is your October Athlete-of-the-Month!
Jaxon is a senior on our football team, who excels both on the field and in the classroom. He has maintained a 3.78 GPA while being a multi-sport athlete for the Panthers.
October 20th against Millington, Jaxon recorded a nine catch, 166 yard performance with one touchdown. His stand-out showing earned him Mlive's "Player of the Week" and his acrobatic touchdown catch was featured as NBC25's "Play of the Night". He followed up that week nine performance with another huge outing against Swan Valley in the playoffs. Against the Vikings, Jaxon caught five passes for 166 yards and three touchdowns to help lead the Panthers to their first playoff win since 2010.
