Pink out T-shirt sale extended through this Sunday, September 15th
The HS & MS cheer teams are having their annual pink out t-shirt sale. Last year we were able to donate over $3100 to www.thepinkfund.org. We chose this non-profit because they donate the funds to local Michigan women who are fighting breast cancer. Anyone can apply to the link provided above. Every year we highlight a breast cancer survivor and this year we are spreading awareness with TEAM CALLAHAN on the back of our shirts. Again, our profits do not go directly to an individual as the school board has approved donations to only go to a non-profit company. Shirts will be dark pink in color with white/black writing. They are $12 each for youth to size adult XL. Please add $2/2XL, $3/3XL, and $4/4XL. BWell is partnering with CMU for the Shocks and Saves charity hockey game on January 27th. All the proceeds are going to help with funding for the Pulse 3 Endowment, to provide cardiac health in the community. Birch Run Area Schools has recently received an AED from the Pulse 3 Endowment, which is very appreciated!

Tom White was elected board president on a 4-2 vote. He takes over that post which had been held by long-time president Don Morse, who opted not to seek reelection to the board back in November. The board will also have a new treasurer as Ryan Rigda was unanimously elected to that position, previously held by White. Katie Barnum was unanimously reelected vice president as was Cindy Parker to the board secretary post.
