For students to be independent at Preschool and Elementary School- it is expected that they are toilet trained. This includes the basics of going on the potty as well as being able to snap, button, and zip clothing. These are all skills you should be working on with your little one.

Special guest in the art room! We were thrilled to welcome local artist Stephen Hargash to work with our students Thursday, mentoring them as they carve and detail their relief sculptures.
Next stop: the Frankenmuth Fire Arts Festival! Join us on September 25–26 at Heritage Park in Frankenmuth, where our students won’t just be showing their work—they’ll also get hands-on experience participating in live workshops throughout the event. Come out, support our talented young artists, and watch the creative sparks fly! 💙💛

On Saturday, Mr. Bossenberger took some of the Birch Run Marching Band members to participate in SVSU Band Day! The students worked together with the collegiate band and students from 20 other band programs to put together a half time show in ONE rehearsal!
The students were led by Birch Run Band Alumni, Cierra Nowicki and Allyson Miller, who are now Marching Cardinals! The experiences the students at Birch Run have while in high school make connections for them going forward in their life & we are proud to see Birch Run alumni taking what they learned here and applying it after high school! 💙💛
